We manage a network of the most established and proven career placement programs in BC’s construction industry, and we’ll use them to support you in any way we can:
We are the most inclusive and far-reaching non-profit serving over 10,000 contractors in BC’s industrial, commercial, and institutional construction industry. We’ve been operating for over 50 years and have helped thousands of British Columbians build their careers in construction.
Now is the time. BCCA has received significant funding from the Government of Canada to provide financial incentives to construction employers for hiring and registering first-year apprentices in 39 Red Seal trades. One of those new apprenticeships could be yours!
You don’t need to have any experience in construction. If you are 18 or older and live in British Columbia as a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident or legally entitled to work in Canada, we want to hear from you.
Submit the form above and we’ll get in touch and help you on your journey to a fulfilling career in the trades. There is no cost for this service.
If you like working outside, being part of a specialized team, creating something real, tackling physical as well as mental challenges, and using tools as well as technology, then yes, construction is probably right for you.
It won’t be easy. Some days, you’ll wonder why you started. But that’s what makes it worth doing. You’ll be proud of your work, and on your way to a rewarding life. To the builder’s life.
